At the invitation of President Vladimir Putin, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan will undertake a working visit to Moscow on May 8-9. This was announced by the Uzbek Presidential Press Service.

During his visit, the Uzbek leader will participate in commemorative events marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II.

A series of bilateral meetings are also scheduled.
