Pope Leo Addresses World, Calls for Peace in Christmas Message

Pope Leo delivered his inaugural Christmas address from St. Peter’s Square, calling for an end to global conflicts.

In his Urbi et Orbi message, a traditional Christmas Day address to Vatican City worshippers, the Pontiff addressed conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East, Thailand, and Cambodia.

“Let us implore God for justice, peace, and stability for Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Syria,” he stated.

This marked his first Urbi et Orbi address since his election on May 8th.
