The Strictly Come Dancing 2025 final is just two weeks away, and the competition is intensifying as the remaining celebrities vie for the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
This Saturday marks the return of Musicals Week, featuring iconic songs from productions such as “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Guys and Dolls.”
Adding a new dynamic to the show, all remaining couples will participate in a “dance relay” to kick off the evening.
Musicals Week promises further excitement with special guest appearances, including Paddington Bear and members of the West End hit “Titanique.”

Last Saturday’s show saw Lewis and Katya make history, winning the first-ever Instant Dance challenge.
Prior to the challenge, Karen and Amber both achieved a perfect score of 40, marking Karen’s first of the season.
George and Alexis continued their strong performance, with judge Craig Revel Horwood praising their Quickstep as “a joy to watch.”
However, Alex and Johannes faced challenges, landing lower on the leaderboard with their Cha Cha Cha.
Ultimately, Balvinder Sopal and Alex Kingston found themselves in the Sunday night dance-off.
The judges chose to save Balvinder, resulting in Alex’s departure from the competition.
This season of Strictly has introduced several new challenges, adding a fresh dimension to the format.
Following last week’s Instant Dance, this week features another innovative element: the “dance relay,” which will commence Saturday’s show.
This five-minute relay will feature each couple in a segment celebrating beloved musicals.
The couples will dance to songs from shows like “My Fair Lady,” “Oliver!,” “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” and “Mary Poppins Returns,” as they compete for viewers’ votes.
In addition to the celebrity performances, the professionals will perform Cell Block Tango from “Chicago,” and former Strictly contestant Tom Fletcher will appear alongside Paddington Bear, making his Strictly debut.
With the grand final on December 20th, the competition is reaching its climax.
At this stage, the results are becoming increasingly unpredictable. Even a strong score may not guarantee a spot in the top half of the leaderboard, and with so few couples remaining, the stakes are high.
On Sunday night, two more couples will face the dance-off, and another will be eliminated.
