According to Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, the incident occurred at approximately 18:52 local time (13:52 GMT). Preliminary reports indicate a slow-moving vehicle was stopped at a traffic light when the explosion took place.
Law enforcement officials have stated that the cause of the blast remains undetermined and is currently under investigation.
