Authorities were dispatched to Winnats Pass, a prominent route in the Peak District, following reports that a UK-based rapper had obstructed traffic while filming a music video.

Derbyshire Police responded to calls regarding vehicles blocking Winnats Pass in Castleton shortly after 17:25 BST on October 19.

The artist in question, London’s Tion Wayne, was reportedly filming scenes for his latest single, “Streets a Lie,” in front of a black Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Law enforcement officials confirmed their attendance and subsequent clearing of the roadway. Wayne alluded to the incident on his TikTok account, stating he had “locked off Peak District till the Feds came.”

Wayne, known for his contributions to UK rap and UK drill, achieved broader recognition through tracks such as “Keisha & Becky” (with Russ Millions) and “Body” (also featuring Russ Millions), the latter of which received the MOBO Award for Song of the Year in 2021.

A video of Wayne’s Peak District excursion has amassed over five million views since its posting on Sunday.

Another video captures the rapper meeting fans at the Speedwell Cavern Caravan car park during his Derbyshire visit, with an orange Lamborghini prominently displayed.

Wayne commented, “Winnats Pass Gave Us A Pass”.
