Celebrity Halloween Costumes: The Standout Looks of 2025

Celebrities including Demi Lovato, Janelle Monae, North West, and Jade have recently showcased a range of Halloween costumes, spanning from the elaborate and impressive to the downright hilarious.

While practicality may be sacrificed – with some ensembles perhaps unsuitable for public transport – these looks compensate with creativity and artistic execution.

Last year saw lavish Halloween parties hosted by figures like Billie Eilish, Alix Earle, and Khloe Kardashian, though it remains to be seen if they will reprise their roles as hosts this year.

Heidi Klum’s renowned Halloween bash is, however, slated to proceed in New York, and anticipation is building to see if Jonathan Ross will re-enter the party-hosting scene, following his successful appearance on “Celebrity Traitors.”

Not all costume choices have been met with universal acclaim; Julia Fox’s interpretation of a blood-soaked Jackie Kennedy drew criticism for its perceived insensitivity.

In contrast, other looks have resonated with audiences. Singer Demi Lovato revisited her viral “Poot Lovato” meme from 2015, referencing her online alter-ego.

Additional social media highlights include North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and her friends emulating the Japanese kawaii-metal band BABYMETAL.

Megan Thee Stallion embodied Choso from the Manga series Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jade, formerly of Little Mix, transformed into Greta from the “Gremlins” franchise, while Janelle Monae reimagined the iconic “Cat in the Hat” aesthetic.

Paris Hilton paid homage to Britney Spears’s unforgettable look from the “Oops!… I Did It Again” music video.

Keke Palmer channeled her inner rapper, dressing up as Snoop Dogg and lip-synching to his music.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa shone as The Golden Woman from the animated series “Love, Death + Robots.”

Kourtney Kardashian Barker, a known Halloween enthusiast, offered a tribute to the Bride of Frankenstein with her chosen costume.

Amelia Dimoldenberg, a content creator and media personality, opted for a challenging and elaborate devilish costume that appeared to require considerable effort.

Ed Sheeran transformed into Pennywise the clown, Stephen King’s menacing character from “It.”

Los Angeles played host to a spectacle of style and storytelling over the weekend.

Crepe City was set up in 2009 to allow sneaker collectors to meet up, socialise and trade in trainers.

Grace Wales Bonner becomes the first black woman to lead design at a major fashion house.

Underwear Autumn, at Sewerby Hall, looks back at 500 years of petticoats, corsets and bustles.

The DSI London fashion house in Croydon has 52 artisans making on-screen costumes from scratch.
