JADE Set to Transform Belfast’s Skyline

Anticipation is high as JADE commences her inaugural UK solo tour in Belfast on Thursday evening.

She is scheduled to perform tracks from her debut album, “That’s Showbiz, Baby!”, which was released last month.

The singer, whose full name is Jade Thirlwall, last graced Belfast’s stage over three years ago as a member of the popular girl group Little Mix.

The group had previously announced that they would “take a break” following the completion of their “Confetti” tour in 2022.

Dedicated fans have journeyed from various locations to witness JADE’s return to the stage, and BBC News NI engaged with several of them.

Hayden, 17, from Derry, secured the first position in the queue at the Ulster Hall on Thursday, arriving at 07:30 BST.

“Being at the very front provides a much more intimate experience, so I made sure to arrive as early as possible.”

Hayden also traveled to Dublin to attend JADE’s performance there, adding, “I had the opportunity to meet her after her show last night. She’s incredible, it was all a bit of a dream.”

Laura, 21, from Bangor, has been a devoted follower of Little Mix and JADE since her primary school days.

“This will be my seventh time seeing her perform. She consistently delivers a spectacular show, with amazing costumes, sets, and dancers. I’m eager to see what she has planned this time.”

Among those eagerly awaiting JADE’s performance are fans who have traveled considerable distances to attend the Belfast concert.

Vera, 25, from Portugal, made a special trip to Northern Ireland specifically to see JADE perform.

“I attended Little Mix’s final show in 2022, and this will be my first time seeing her since their disbandment.”

“I traveled from so far away that I had to get here early to secure a spot in the front row. I am a huge admirer of her!”

Guilia, 18, traveled from Italy with her girlfriend Giada, 18, to attend the opening night of JADE’s UK tour in celebration of her birthday.

“It’s my girlfriend’s first-ever concert, and I’ve been waiting five years to see her perform. We’re both incredibly excited.”

“I believe her new album is a genuine work of art; I’m especially looking forward to hearing ‘Angel of my Dreams’,” she told BBC News NI.

Perrie Edwards reveals she experienced two miscarriages, including one at six months that left her “distraught.”

The former Little Mix singer shares that her two daughters are “healthy and fighting strong” after being born prematurely.

It was a momentous evening for Shields as musicians Sam Fender and Jade each secured two Brit Awards.

The singer, 33, posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: “She’s eating for 3 now”.

The Derry-born singer’s “Puppet on a String” is sampled in the former Little Mix star’s debut single.
