Lord Brocket Confronts Additional Sex Offense Allegations

Lord Brocket, a member of the British peerage and former reality television contestant, is facing additional charges of sexual assault following a recent court appearance.

Lord Charles Brocket has been formally charged with two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of sexual activity without consent, allegations stemming from an incident in London on August 10.

These charges are in addition to a previous count of sexual assault by penetration alleged to have occurred in Warbleton, East Sussex, on May 5, which was subsequently dropped after a hearing on Monday.

The 73-year-old, who resides in Fulham, West London, and is known for his participation in the 2004 series of “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”, appeared at Isleworth Crown Court in west London on Tuesday. He did not formally enter a plea at this time.

Crispin Aylett KC, representing Lord Brocket, indicated to the court that his client intends to plead not guilty to the charges.

All charges pertain to a single complainant.

Lord Brocket is scheduled to reappear in court on January 9, 2026, with a trial date provisionally set for November 1, 2027.

Judge Martin Edmunds KC, presiding over the case, estimated the trial duration to be approximately seven days. He acknowledged the significant delay, stating: “I apologise to all concerned in this case that it is so far in to the future but the combination of an increasing backlog of cases coming to court and those in custody matters must take priority.”

During a pre-trial preparation hearing, Lord Brocket confirmed his name and date of birth.

He has been granted conditional bail pending his next court appearance.
