Notre Dame Cathedral Towers to Reopen After Six Years

The iconic towers of Paris’s Notre-Dame Cathedral have been reopened to the public, marking a significant milestone six years after a devastating fire prompted its closure.

While the central portion of the cathedral was accessible from December 2024, the reopening of Notre-Dame’s famed twin towers has been eagerly awaited.

A comprehensive restoration project has been underway to restore the cathedral to its former splendor, following substantial damage incurred during the 2019 fire.

French President Emmanuel Macron officially reopened the newly restored towers to visitors on Friday.
