Gogglebox is set to introduce a fresh cohort of personalities when it returns this Friday, featuring an expanded cast of armchair TV critics.
The new additions include five households: friends from Glasgow, a family residing in Surrey, and a couple based in the Cotswolds. They will be joined by sisters hailing from Edinburgh and a mother- and daughter-in-law duo from Yorkshire.
However, long-time contributors Joe Kyle and Roisin Kelly, the Scottish couple, have departed the program. Roisin indicated via Instagram that they were “brutally axed from Gogglebox.”
The enduring Channel 4 series, narrated by Craig Cash of The Royle Family, offers viewers a glimpse into the reactions of other viewers as they watch the week’s television, often with comedic and heartwarming results.
