Tom Holland, known for his role as Spider-Man, has been spotted engaging with fans while filming the latest installment of the superhero saga in Glasgow.

The actor is currently starring in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” with production commencing in the Scottish city on Friday.

This marks the second consecutive film Holland has made in Scotland, following his recent involvement in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” filmed across various locations in Inverness and Moray last month.

Sections of Glasgow’s city center have been transformed to resemble an American metropolis, with filming expected to span two weeks.

On Sunday, Holland was observed filming an action sequence in costume before interacting with an assembled crowd of approximately 100 individuals.

Significant portions of the city center have been temporarily closed to facilitate filming, prompting warnings of potential disruptions.

The film joins a growing list of high-profile Hollywood productions that have utilized Glasgow as a filming location in recent years.

Glen Powell, star of “Twisters,” has filmed two projects in Glasgow within the past year: a remake of the 1980s sci-fi thriller “The Running Man” and JJ Abrams’ “Ghostwriter.”

Glasgow has previously served as a stand-in for New York City and the fictional Gotham City in productions such as “Indiana Jones and the Dial Of Destiny,” “The Flash,” and “The Batman.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for release in cinemas next July.
