Man Dies Following Fall at Oasis Wembley Concert

Authorities have confirmed that a man died following a fall at an Oasis concert held on Saturday. The Metropolitan Police reported the incident.

Officers and paramedics responded to a call from Wembley Stadium in London at 22:19 BST regarding a man in his 40s who had sustained injuries, police stated.

According to a police spokesperson, the man “was found with injuries consistent with a fall” and was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a released statement, Oasis expressed their profound sadness and shock upon learning of the fan’s death.

“Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved,” the band stated.

Reports indicate that the man fell from an upper tier of the stadium.

Police noted the stadium was heavily populated at the time and stated, “we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage.”

The Metropolitan Police are urging anyone with information to contact them via 101.

Authorities also indicated that the Health and Safety Executive will be assuming the investigation in the coming days.

According to Wembley Stadium’s official website, Oasis’s performance was scheduled from 20:15 to 22:15.

Oasis commenced their Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour in July. Saturday’s event was one of seven sold-out reunion concerts at Wembley Stadium, which boasts a capacity of 90,000 across its three tiers.

Noel and Liam Gallagher’s tour marks the end of their nearly 16-year separation.

Wembley Stadium issued a statement confirming that medical personnel, police, and the London Ambulance Service attended to the injured man.

“Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers,” the statement read.

The Oasis concert on Sunday proceeded as scheduled.

The band is slated to perform in Edinburgh for three shows on August 8, 9, and 12, followed by tour dates in Ireland, Canada, the United States, and Mexico, before returning to Wembley on September 27 and 28.

Manchester City Council has stated that the funding for events comes from park rentals and taxes on large venues.

Prior to the Oasis concert, Supernova had the opportunity to perform at Wembley’s Boxpark.

The Gallagher brothers are scheduled for seven sold-out performances at the renowned stadium.

The Gallagher brothers and their band Oasis are returning to Wembley Stadium for the first time since 2009.
