An Uzbek citizen working as a waitress in Turkey has died as a result of a shooting. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul reports this information.
According to reports, a shooting occurred in a restaurant in Aydın Province this year, resulting in a 35-year-old woman from Uzbekistan, who worked there as a waitress, sustaining a severe gunshot wound to the head and dying at the scene.
Five individuals suspected of committing the crime have been detained by law enforcement. An investigation is currently underway.
The Consulate General and the Representative Office of the Migration Agency in Turkey are taking the necessary measures to repatriate the deceased’s body to her homeland and to provide the necessary assistance to her relatives.
