BAKU/Trend/ – Iran remains committed to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and intends to continue mutual cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
As Trend reports, this was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in a post on his “X” social media account.
“Our cooperation will be conducted through Iran’s Supreme National Security Council for obvious security reasons,” he emphasized.
It should be noted that on June 25, the Iranian parliament approved a bill to suspend cooperation with the IAEA.
