Saudi Arabia Condemns Iranian Missile Strike on Qatar

RIYADH /Trend/ – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Iran’s missile attack on the State of Qatar, denouncing it as a “blatant violation of international law and principles of good neighborliness,” Trend reports.

In an official statement released by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Riyadh unequivocally condemned the aggression, stating that it is “completely unacceptable and unjustifiable under any circumstances.”

The Kingdom expressed its full solidarity and unwavering support for its brotherly State of Qatar, pledging to place all its resources at Doha’s disposal to assist in any measures it may undertake in response to the attack.

“Saudi Arabia reaffirms its firm stance in supporting Qatar in the face of any threats to its sovereignty, security, and stability,” the statement reads.

It should be noted that Iran launched missile strikes against US bases in Qatar and Iraq.

Iran’s operation against US military bases is called “Good News of Victory.”

Earlier, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement regarding the attack on the US base in Qatar.

“In response to the blatant military aggression of the criminal regime of the United States of America against the peaceful nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the gross violation of international law, by decision of the Supreme National Security Council and under the leadership of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command Headquarters, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a powerful and destructive missile strike on the Al Udeid base in Qatar,” the statement said.

The Qatari Ministry of Defence reported the successful interception of the Iranian missile attack targeting Al Udeid Air Base.

“With the help of Allah and thanks to the high readiness of our servicemen, the attack was neutralized in a timely manner. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident,” the statement said.
