Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry Advises Against Travel to the Middle East

ASTANA /Trend/ – Due to the sharp escalation of the military-political situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan strongly recommends that its citizens reconsider any previously planned trips to the countries of the region.

As reported by Trend, the official statement from the foreign ministry indicates a comprehensive assessment of the situation and potential risks is underway, along with coordination of actions with relevant government bodies and international partners.

Furthermore, the statement notes that temporary restrictions on airspace usage have been imposed in several Middle Eastern countries, leading to cancellations and rescheduling of numerous international flights.

Kazakhstani diplomatic missions in the Middle East continue to operate normally, providing round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and offering all necessary consular and legal assistance to Kazakhstani citizens.

The MFA of the Republic of Kazakhstan urges Kazakhstani citizens currently in the region to exercise caution, avoid areas of heightened danger, and contact the nearest consulate if necessary.
