Israel Calls US Strike on Iran a “Just Act” Against Global Threat

BAKU /Trend/ – At a UN Security Council meeting, Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon strongly endorsed the recent US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, calling them a “righteous act” and a “necessary measure” to eliminate the “greatest existential threat to the free world,” reports Trend.

“Last night, the leader of the free world showed courage,” Danon stated. “The US acted not only in its own interests, but for all who value freedom over radicalism.”

He emphasized that diplomatic efforts had been repeatedly undertaken, including with US participation. “Many nations represented in this chamber genuinely sought diplomacy. But the Iranian regime had other goals,” the Israeli diplomat noted.

According to Danon, Tehran used negotiations as a cover to buy time for its ballistic missile program and uranium enrichment. “They entered agreements they had no intention of keeping. They violated deadlines, obstructed inspections. The free world gave them every chance – months, years, every conceivable concession,” Danon said. “But Iran did not budge. Therefore, it had to be moved.”

He concluded by stating that Iran’s nuclear program is “not a diplomatic puzzle, but a loaded weapon aimed at the heart of the international system.”
