Uzbekistan Urges Citizens to Leave High-Risk Areas in Israel and Iran

The Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement addressing its citizens in Israel and Iran.

Citing the rapidly escalating situation in the Middle East as a serious concern, the Ministry advises Uzbek citizens against traveling to Israel and Iran. Those already in these countries are urged to relocate to safer areas.

“Necessary measures are being taken to ensure safety; we urge our citizens to remain vigilant and monitor official announcements,” stated MFA spokesperson Akhror Burkhanov.

The Ministry reiterated Uzbekistan’s consistent call for all parties in the region to pursue peaceful conflict resolution through dialogue.

On June 18th, the Uzbek Embassy in Israel provided information on potential departure options for citizens wishing to leave the country.

Similarly, the Embassy in Iran has urged strict adherence to safety precautions. To date, approximately 60 Uzbek citizens have been evacuated from Iran to their homeland via Turkmenistan.
