BAKU /Trend/ – Five Iranian military personnel were killed and nine others wounded in Israeli strikes on Iran’s Kermanshah province.
According to Trend, local authorities confirmed the casualties.
The attack reportedly occurred at 4 PM local time, targeting areas around Qasr-e Shirin, a region bordering Iraq.
This follows earlier Israeli airstrikes on June 13th, which resulted in numerous casualties, including high-ranking Iranian military officials. These reportedly included Chief of General Staff Mohammad Bagheri, IRGC Commander-in-Chief Hossein Salami, two commanders from Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters – Gholamali Rashid and Ali Shadmani, IRGC Air Force Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh, as well as nine nuclear scientists and other personnel.
In retaliation, Iran launched over 150 ballistic missiles and 100 drones at Tel Aviv and other Israeli areas, causing civilian casualties and substantial damage.
