BAKU/Trend/ – Iran has launched another missile strike on Israeli territory, reports Trend.
A statement released following the attack indicates that Israeli forces engaged in intercepting aerial targets.
It follows Israeli airstrikes on Iranian military sites early on June 13th. These strikes resulted in significant casualties, including the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri; the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami; two commanders of the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, Golamali Rashid and Ali Shadmani; the IRGC Air Force Commander, Amir Ali Hajizadeh; nine nuclear scientists; and other high-ranking officials.
Iran retaliated the same day, launching over 150 ballistic missiles and more than 100 drones against Tel Aviv and other areas, causing civilian casualties and widespread destruction.
