BAKU/Trend/ – Iran denies sending any messages to Israel via Cyprus or any other country.
As reported by Trend, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baghai stated on June 15th that reports in foreign media alleging Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian conveyed a message to Israel through Cyprus are inaccurate.
It should be noted that Israel launched airstrikes on Iran in the early morning of June 13th. The attacks resulted in a significant number of Iranian military casualties, including the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri; the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, Hossein Salami; the Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, Gholamali Rashid; the Commander of the IRGC Air Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh; and nine nuclear scientists and high-ranking officials.
