ANKARA /Trend/ – Two earthquakes have struck the Bingöl province of Turkey.
As reported by Trend, citing Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the first quake registered a magnitude of 4.4. Its epicenter was located 1.57 kilometers from the Kiğı district, at a depth of 7.02 kilometers.
A second earthquake followed, measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale. This quake’s epicenter was also near the Kiğı district, with a focal depth of 11.13 kilometers.
Preliminary reports indicate no damage or injuries resulting from either earthquake.
