Rabbimkul Muhammadiev, the Imam-Khatib of the Rakkat Mosque in Tashkent’s Yakkasaray district, passed away in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
As reported on the mosque’s Telegram channel, the Imam fell ill in Medina, lapsed into a coma, and passed away on the morning of May 26th.
He had been leading a group of Uzbek pilgrims on the Hajj pilgrimage as their leader (ellikboshi).
Rabbimkul Muhammadiev served as Imam-Khatib of the Rakkat Mosque since July 2019. Prior to this, he held the same position at the Imam Termez Mosque in Almazar district.
