Andy Robertson’s potential move to Tottenham would mark his third stint in English football, following previous tenures with Hull City and Liverpool.
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly nearing an agreement with Scottish international full-back Andy Robertson after his departure from Liverpool.
The 32-year-old defender recently played his final match for Liverpool against Brentford, having publicly announced his departure at the end of his contract this summer.
While specific details are still being finalized with Spurs, a preliminary agreement is understood to be in place.
Tottenham, under the then-management of Thomas Frank, previously expressed interest in Robertson during the January transfer window.
An agreement was reportedly reached between the two clubs at that time, but Liverpool ultimately withdrew from the deal due to their inability to recall Kostas Tsimikas from his loan spell at Roma.
Spurs secured their Premier League survival on the final day of the season with a victory over Everton, now under the leadership of manager Roberto de Zerbi.
The highly experienced Robertson, who has also earned 92 caps for Scotland and is expected to lead his nation at the upcoming World Cup, made 378 appearances for Liverpool, contributing to their two Premier League titles and Champions League victory.
