Agyemang Named Young Sports Personality of the Year.

Key achievement: Just three months after her international debut, Agyemang came off the bench to score crucial late equalisers in both the quarter-final and semi-final as England marched to Euro 2025 glory.
Agyemang, currently on loan at Brighton from Arsenal, was named young player of the tournament and later awarded the Golden Girl trophy, which recognises the best young player in Europe.

On 29 July 2024, three young girls – Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and six-year-old Bebe King – tragically died during an attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance workshop in Southport.
In April this year, Sergio Aguiar and David Stancombe, the fathers of Alice and Elsie, ran the London Marathon in their memory.
Sergio has since completed marathons in Berlin, Chicago, and New York as he strives to complete the six World Marathon Majors, raising money for a foundation established in his daughter’s name.
