Following the passing of Hefin David, the Labour MS for Caerphilly, in August, residents of the constituency will participate in a by-election to choose a new representative in the Welsh Parliament.
On October 23rd, eligible voters in Caerphilly will cast their ballots to elect an MS who will serve for the subsequent six months.
The elected MS will fill the vacancy until the May 2026 elections, which will determine the composition of the newly expanded Welsh Parliament.
