Uzbekistan passport holders currently benefit from visa-free entry to 35 countries, according to a recent announcement by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Akhror Burhonov. The statement was released via the ministry’s press service.
The Foreign Ministry is reportedly engaged in ongoing discussions with several nations regarding the abolishment or simplification of visa requirements for Uzbek citizens. It is noted that approximately ten countries have established visa-free regimes with Uzbekistan between 2023 and 2025, including China, the UAE, Thailand, Oman, and Iran. Furthermore, countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Vietnam have streamlined visa procedures for Uzbek nationals.
“Active negotiations are currently underway with dozens of countries to facilitate the departure of our citizens abroad,” stated the ministry representative.

Overall, Uzbek citizens currently have access to 35 countries visa-free, with an additional 42 countries offering simplified visa procedures.
