Uzbekneftegaz Announces Price Reduction for AI-92 Gasoline

The Bukhara Oil Refinery has reduced the price of Ai-92 gasoline. This was announced on August 11 by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

In line with presidential directives to provide the public with high-quality fuel products at affordable prices, the Bukhara Oil Refinery is working to gradually reduce prices for Ai-92 gasoline.

This initiative is a key component of Uzbekneftegaz’s strategy to support fuel market stability and ensure the availability of quality gasoline for consumers.

In the first phase, the starting price of 1 ton of Ai-92 gasoline produced at the Bukhara Refinery was lowered on the stock exchange from 12 million 881 thousand soums to 12 million 628 thousand soums. This translates to an initial exchange price of 9,400 soums per liter of Ai-92 gasoline.

“As part of the strategy, production processes have been optimized and comprehensive measures have been implemented to reduce costs. At the same time, gasoline production has increased, while the price has decreased,” the statement said.

Uzbekneftegaz will continue to gradually reduce prices for high-octane fuel in order to develop the domestic market and support consumer interests.

It was previously reported that the company will cease production of Ai-80 gasoline in September. The company plans to transition exclusively to the sale of high-octane fuel from 2026.
