The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan expressed serious concern regarding the Israeli military operation against the Islamic Republic of Iran, resulting in casualties and escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The ministry urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint, immediately cease hostilities, and transition to political and diplomatic methods of conflict resolution.
“We consider the risk of further escalation, which could lead to large-scale confrontation, alarming,” the statement reads.
The MFA reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening regional stability and its readiness to contribute to efforts to de-escalate the conflict.
