Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China-Mongolia Freight Corridor: First Pilot Transit Completed in Eight Days

Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport reports the successful completion of a pilot freight delivery along the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China-Mongolia corridor.

In a joint effort with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry facilitated this initial pilot program to open new markets for domestic businesses and establish efficient automotive freight routes. The initiative aimed at exploring and developing new transportation corridors.

The route, traversing challenging terrain including the Altai Mountains, reaches altitudes of up to 1500 meters above sea level. The Uzbek national carrier successfully completed the 4500 km journey in eight days.
