Uzbekistan and Mongolia’s Leaders Attend Traditional Mongolian Games with Spouses (Photos)

On June 25th, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, along with their spouses, planted a tree in the park of the “Ikh Tenger” state complex. This was reported by the President’s press service.

“The ceremony became a symbol of rapprochement and strengthening friendship between the peoples of the two countries, marking the beginning of a new stage in the development of Uzbek-Mongolian relations of comprehensive partnership,” the statement said.

The program of the high-level guests’ stay continued with a joint viewing of the traditional Mongolian games “Naadam.”

“Naadam” is a traditional Mongolian competition, also known as “the three manly games,” which includes Mongolian wrestling, horse racing, and archery. It is held throughout the country during the mid-summer festival.
