Uzbek President Fulfills 115-Year-Old War Veteran’s Dream (Video)

Uzbekistan’s President facilitated the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for 115-year-old World War II veteran, Ruziboy Sattorov, from Kashkadarya region: a flight on a military aircraft. This was announced by the Kashkadarya regional administration’s press service.

On the eve of May 9th – Remembrance and Honor Day – the regional governor, Murodjon Azimov, visited the home of veteran Ruziboy Sattorov to deliver presidential congratulations and a monetary award.

The veteran, from Kamashinsky district, is 115 years old and is recognized as the oldest surviving participant of the war.

On May 10th, accompanied by military and medical personnel, Ruziboy Sattorov took a flight on a C-295 military aircraft, provided at the behest of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
