The new Umrah season in Uzbekistan will commence in August of this year. This was reported by the Center for the Organization of Hajj and Umrah under the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.
In recent years, the organization of Umrah pilgrimages has been of a high standard, with the Hajj and Umrah Center providing pilgrims with quality and convenient services, and ensuring that all rituals are performed in accordance with Sharia requirements. Since July 2024, the organization of Umrah events in Uzbekistan has been recognized as a licensable activity. According to a government decree, licensing requirements and conditions have been approved. Legal entities providing Umrah services without a license may be fined up to 200 Basic Calculation Amounts.
