Nikola Doroshenko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine, is concluding his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan. He announced this on his Facebook page.
“As part of the rotation of the diplomatic corps, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has decided to conclude my mission in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This is the highest degree of trust from the leadership of my country, my people, and I have made every effort to justify it,” he wrote.
The Ambassador noted that he had the honor of representing and defending the interests of the State in a difficult time for it—a time of war.
“It was my duty to talk about this fact, to convey the truth to Uzbek society, to explain what today’s Ukraine lives by, and why its sons and daughters are dying.
I hope that, thanks to my work, more seeds of truth will sprout in the Uzbek environment,” Doroshenko added.
Nikola Doroshenko was appointed as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Uzbekistan in April 2020. In October of the same year, he presented his credentials to the President of Uzbekistan at the “Kuksaroy” residence.
