Two Tashkent Metro Stations to Close for Three Months

The Tashkent Metro has announced a temporary suspension of train service between two stations on the elevated line. This is according to an announcement from the Tashkent Metro administration.

Scheduled preventative maintenance is necessary to ensure passenger safety and the continued provision of high-quality service. This maintenance is required due to the operational lifespan of the elevated sections and stations on the newer metro lines.

This planned maintenance, anticipated to last up to three months, will be carried out in phases along the elevated circular line between Technopark and Kipchak stations.

Consequently, train service will be suspended between “Turan” (station 13) and “Kipchak” (station 14) starting June 8th, 2025.

To minimize inconvenience to passengers, the Tashkent Metro will provide free shuttle bus service (metro buses) operating daily from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM along the route “Kipchak – Kuruvchilar – Kipchak”.
