England manager Thomas Tuchel is expected to field an experimental starting XI for Saturday’s (17:00 BST) World Cup qualifier against Andorra, leaving Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka out of the squad.

Reports suggest Tuchel is considering Chelsea’s Reece James at left-back and Liverpool’s Curtis Jones on the right side of defense. Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa) and Dan Burn (Newcastle) are options in central defense.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer is anticipated to make his England debut after impressing in training. Declan Rice may be rested, potentially giving Jordan Henderson and Jude Bellingham central midfield roles. Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) is expected to lead the attack, with Noni Madueke (Chelsea) and Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa) among the wide options.

Saka’s absence is attributed to limited training this week, having only completed one full session. He has yet to play under Tuchel, missing his first camp due to injury. His participation in Tuesday’s friendly against Senegal remains uncertain.

Conor Gallagher (Atletico Madrid) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), who returned home with a minor injury, are also omitted. While Watkins’ absence is precautionary, Gallagher’s reason is unclear.
