Brian Callahan, who assumed the role of Tennessee Titans head coach in January 2024, concludes his tenure with a record of three wins and fourteen losses in his inaugural season.
The Tennessee Titans have relieved head coach Brian Callahan of his duties following a disappointing start to the NFL season.
The Titans currently occupy the bottom position in the Southern Division of the American Football Conference (AFC), having recorded only one victory against five defeats.
The decision follows a 20-10 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, marking the final game for Callahan, 41, at the helm of the team.
Chad Brinker, the Titans’ president of football operations, acknowledged Callahan as a person of “great character,” emphasizing that “these decisions are never easy.”
“Our players, fans, and community deserve a football team that achieves a standard we are not currently meeting,” Brinker stated.
“We are committed to making the hard decisions necessary to reach and maintain that standard.”
The Titans finished with the league’s worst record last season and subsequently secured the first overall pick in the 2025 draft, selecting quarterback Cam Ward.
