President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Azerbaijan on July 2-4 at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President’s press service reports.
According to the program, the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council and other high-level events will be held in Baku on July 2-3.
Issues of further strengthening Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance, as well as expanding cooperation and exchanges in priority areas of cooperation will be considered.
On July 4, in the city of Khankendi, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization and hold a number of bilateral meetings.
