President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree “On awarding posthumously a group of scientists and artists who have made a huge contribution to the development of science, literature, culture and art in Uzbekistan.”
According to the document, with the aim of further establishing high values – exalting the honor and dignity of man, preserving the memory of ancestors and widely disseminating their worthy deeds, for many years of fruitful scientific, creative and social activity, a bright and original talent that has made a significant contribution to strengthening the intellectual potential of the nation, enriching national spirituality, developing science, literature, culture and art, as well as to establishing the principles of goodness and justice, patriotism and generosity in society; for the rich heritage, meaningful life and high human qualities that have left a deep mark in the memory of the people, the following scientists and cultural figures are to be awarded posthumously:
