As part of the state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Azerbaijan, a solemn ceremony was held in Baku to lay the foundation for the “Uzbekistan” Park, according to a report by the President’s press service.
The new park will be located in the prestigious and rapidly developing “Ag Sheher” district of the capital.
The project envisages the creation of a large-scale park complex spanning 4.5 hectares, designed to showcase the rich culture and traditions of Uzbekistan.
It will include reconstructions of architectural monuments of Uzbekistan, walking areas, green spaces, a hotel, and various retail and entertainment facilities. The buildings will be decorated using elements of Uzbek national architecture and adorned with traditional ornaments.
During the ceremony, the heads of the two states jointly laid a symbolic capsule in the foundation of the park, marking the commencement of this important project.
