Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov. She announced this on her Telegram channel.

“I express my gratitude to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, for the warm welcome and substantive meeting, which took place in an open and trusting atmosphere.

It was emphasized that our peoples are united by a common desire for development and prosperity, based on mutual trust and respect. The President of our country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, attaches particular importance to strengthening relations with Kyrgyzstan as a close neighbor and strategic partner,” wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.

It was noted that all of this is confirmed by successful agreements on borders, recognition of national IDs, joint ventures, and joint projects such as the Kambar-Ata-1 HPP and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.

During the meeting, the “Zakovat” game tournaments held in both countries were also noted. It was emphasized that this is a very successful project that contributes to strengthening friendly ties between the youth of the two countries.

“Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are united by fraternal and good-neighborly ties that have been formed over centuries. We cherish them and will continue to strengthen them,” Mirziyoyeva concluded.
