The Committee for the Development of Competition has identified violations in the provision of railway transportation services, according to a statement from the Committee’s press service.
An investigation by the Committee’s Special Commission revealed that “O‘ztemiryo‘lyo‘lovchi” JSC and “Shahar atrofida yo‘lovchi tashish” LLC collectively overcharged 792,186 consumers for commission fees on ticket sales.
The Committee issued the following directives to the aforementioned companies:
Notably, these service providers contested the Committee’s decision and sought judicial review.
However, decisions by multiple court instances rejected the claims of “O‘ztemiryo‘lyo‘lovchi” JSC and “Shahar atrofida yo‘lovchi tashish” LLC, upholding the decision and order of the Committee’s Special Commission, mandating the reimbursement of excess funds and the payment of a financial penalty.
