Protective Orders Issued to Over 41,000 Women in Uzbekistan in Six Months

The National Social Protection Agency reports on measures implemented during the first half of 2025 to safeguard women from oppression and violence.

According to the data, between January and June 2025, protective orders were issued to 41,051 women who had experienced violence and harassment. “Inson” social service centers provided daily social assistance to 11,914 female victims of violence.

Furthermore, 4,006 women received assistance in primary support rooms. Rehabilitation and adaptation centers accommodated 512 women and 709 of their children, providing them with essential social support.

It is important to note that assistance is also provided to female victims of violence even in the absence of a protective order.
