My Chemical Romance have announced a UK tour to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their seminal album, The Black Parade.
Following a series of cryptic teases on social media, the band has confirmed two performances at Wembley Stadium, scheduled for July 10th and 11th, 2026.
The announcement arrives on the heels of their highly successful and sold-out North American stadium tour, Long Live: The Black Parade, which commenced earlier this year.
While fans have expressed widespread excitement online, some have voiced concerns regarding the limited geographical scope of the confirmed dates, focusing solely on London.
The band’s last UK performances took place in 2022, with appearances in Milton Keynes and Warrington as part of their reunion tour.
Speculation is now rife regarding a potential headline slot at Download Festival, set to occur from June 10th to 14th at Donington Park.
The band has been actively sharing updates across their various social media platforms, albeit with comments sections disabled.
To date, the only confirmed details pertain to the dates, venue, and the time of ticket release, scheduled for Friday, August 15th at 10:00 AM.
Formed in September 2001, My Chemical Romance achieved widespread recognition with the release of their third studio album, The Black Parade, five years later.
This rock opera concept album garnered significant critical acclaim and commercial success, attaining multi-platinum certification in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
In 2013, the band announced their disbandment via their official website, stating, “Like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure.”
The group subsequently revealed their reunion in 2019, along with plans for a tour slated to commence in 2020.
However, the tour was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually proceeding in 2022. This coincided with the release of a new track, The Foundations of Decay, marking their first new material since 2014.
