King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, accompanied by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the “Eternal City” historical and ethnographic park in Samarkand’s international tourist center, the President’s press service reports.
The distinguished guest toured exhibitions showcasing the rich cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and applied arts of the Uzbek people. A performance by choreographic ensembles was also presented.
The complex showcases key historical symbols and recreates recognizable elements of landmarks from Uzbekistan’s historic cities. Alongside national traditions, the history of international diplomacy is also reflected here.
This blend of meaning, history, and modernity greatly impressed the visitors.
