BAKU/ Trend/ – The Israeli Air Force conducted another series of strikes on Iranian territory.
According to Trend, citing the Israeli army press service, 15 fighter jets participated in the operation. The main target of the attack was missile launch sites located in western Iran.
Further details on the operation’s results are not yet being released.
It should be recalled that Israel launched airstrikes on Iran in the early morning of June 13th. The attacks resulted in a significant number of military casualties, including the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Baqeri; the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami; two commanders of the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, Golam Ali Rashid and Ali Shadmani; the commander of the IRGC Air Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh; nine nuclear scientists; and other high-ranking officials.
Iran responded to the Israeli strikes the same day, launching over 150 ballistic missiles and more than 100 drones at Tel Aviv and other areas, resulting in civilian casualties and widespread destruction.
