BAKU /Trend/ – Iran’s important and valuable nuclear facilities and structures will be restored over time in an even more advanced form.
According to Trend, this was stated in a post on Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s Instagram account on Saturday.
He stated that even if the restoration of nuclear centers takes years, it will definitely be implemented.
Araghchi noted that Iran has defended itself against two countries possessing nuclear weapons and is now looking to the future with greater confidence than ever before.
As a reminder, in the early morning of June 13, Israel launched airstrikes on Iran, resulting in the deaths of numerous military personnel, including the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Bagheri, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Hossein Salami, two commanders of the “Khatam al-Anbiya” headquarters – Gholamali Rashid and Ali Shadmani, the commander of the IRGC Air Force Amir Ali Hajizadeh, as well as nine nuclear scientists and others.
In response to these strikes, Iran launched over 150 ballistic missiles and over 100 drones at Tel Aviv and other areas of Israel, leading to civilian casualties and significant destruction.
On June 22, the US Air Force attacked nuclear facilities in Iran. It is noted that the airstrikes destroyed Iranian nuclear facilities.
“We have completed our very successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. All aircraft are now out of Iranian airspace. Full payload of bombs dropped on primary target Fordow. All planes safely returning home!” US President Donald Trump wrote on social media.
On the evening of June 23, Iran launched airstrikes on a US military base in Qatar.
On June 24, with the mediation of US President Donald Trump, a temporary ceasefire was announced between the parties.
