Iran Continues Nuclear Talks in Spirit of Mutual Respect

TEHRAN /Trend/ – Iran continues negotiations with the United States regarding its nuclear program, emphasizing mutual respect and a logical approach.

This was stated on May 15th by Iranian Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, during his address at the 31st Iranian Nuclear Conference in Tehran, according to Trend.

He emphasized that Iran has consistently maintained that its nuclear activities must be officially recognized, and Iranian interests must be secured.

“Attempts to undermine Iran’s achievements through pressure have yielded no results and will not bear fruit in the future,” he asserted.

It is noteworthy that three rounds of talks between Iran and the US concerning Iran’s nuclear program took place on April 12th, 19th, and 26th. These discussions were facilitated by Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and led by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and US Special Envoy for Iran Steve Wykoff. The first and third rounds were held in Muscat, Oman, while the second round took place in Rome, Italy.
