Iran Bars IAEA Chief Rafael Grossi From Entry

BAKU /Trend/ – Iran will no longer allow the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, to enter the country.

As Trend reports on Saturday, this statement was made by the Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Hamidza Haji Babaei, at the funeral of Iranian military personnel and nuclear scientists in Tehran.

According to him, Iran will also not allow the placement of Agency cameras at Iranian nuclear facilities. This is due to information received indicating that data on Iranian nuclear sites were transmitted to Israel.

It should be noted that on June 26, the Guardian Council of Iran approved a parliamentary bill to suspend cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

To recall, in the early morning of June 13, Israel launched airstrikes on Iran, resulting in the deaths of numerous military personnel, including the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami, two commanders of the “Khatam al-Anbia” headquarters – Golamali Rashid and Ali Shadmani, the Commander of the IRGC Air Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, as well as nine nuclear scientists and other individuals.

In response to these strikes, Iran launched over 150 ballistic missiles and more than 100 drones at Tel Aviv and other areas of Israel, resulting in civilian casualties and significant destruction.

On June 22, the U.S. Air Force attacked nuclear facilities in Iran. It is reported that the airstrikes destroyed Iranian nuclear facilities.

“We have completed our very successful attack on three nuclear facilities in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. All aircraft are now out of Iranian airspace. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the main Fordow facility. All aircraft are safely returning home,” U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on social media.

On the evening of June 23, Iran launched airstrikes on a U.S. military base in Qatar.

On June 24, with the mediation of U.S. President Donald Trump, a temporary ceasefire was announced between the parties.
