Galatasaray Eyeing Loan Move for Tottenham’s Bissouma

Yves Bissouma made 44 appearances for Tottenham last season.

Galatasaray are reportedly in discussions with Tottenham Hotspur regarding a potential loan agreement for defensive midfielder Yves Bissouma. The Mali international has yet to feature for Spurs this season.

Bissouma was previously omitted from the squad that faced Paris St-Germain in the Uefa Super Cup due to repeated instances of lateness.

The midfielder missed Tottenham’s Premier League opener against Burnley due to injury and was also absent from their 2-0 victory over Manchester City on Saturday.

Bissouma, 28, joined Spurs from Brighton in 2022 for a reported £25m fee plus add-ons. He has since amassed 100 appearances for the club, including a start in their Europa League final triumph over Manchester United in May.

Tottenham recently secured the loan signing of defensive midfielder Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich, and the Portugal international marked his debut with a goal against Manchester City.
